Tina qualified as a physiotherapist in 2001 having studied at Kings College London University. She has worked extensively both in the UK and abroad, having spent several skiing seasons as a Head Physiotherapist in Val D’Isere, France.

Tina qualified as a physiotherapist in 2001 having studied at Kings College London University. She has worked extensively both in the UK, for the NHS and in private practice, and also abroad, having spent several skiing seasons as a Head Physiotherapist in Val D’Isere, France.
Tina has extensive experience in the treatment of all musculoskeletal disorders, and has a particular interest in the use of acupuncture.
After having 2 children, Tina was keen to promote Women’s Health physiotherapy in the area, to help as many women as possible, with a variety of Women’s Health conditions and she has since completed post-graduate training within this area. Within the pelvic health caseload, she treats anything from pelvic pain, to urinary dysfunction and prolapses. She also sees clients anti-natally and post-natally, and has links with several of the fitness instructors and pilates trainers in the area.
She is based at both the Brighton & Hove clinics.

Claire Powell Bsc (hons), M.C.S.P. Registered with HCPC
Claire qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in 2007. She has experience working within the NHS and private sector in the UK as well as abroad, having spent 2 years treating expats and athletes in Singapore.

Claire qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in 2007. She has experience working within the NHS and private sector in the UK as well as abroad, having spent 2 years treating expats and athletes in Singapore.
Claire has a particular interest in Sports injuries and has worked with rugby teams, tennis players, netballers and runners competing at international level.
She currently works part-time in the Brighton clinic as both a physiotherapist and Physio Yoga 1:1, whilst also working part time for private hospital.

Teresa (TJ) is a dynamic, highly qualified physiotherapist with extensive experience in sport and bio-mechanics. She has treated Olympic athletes and rugby internationals. 4 years with a national rugby league club and 2 years as a military physiotherapist, followed by 15 years working in private practice. TJ is now based at the Kemptown clinic.
Anja Wachter BSc (Hons), M.C.S.P. Registered with HCPC
Anja qualified as a Physiotherapist in Germany in 1999 before coming over to the UK in 2003 where she gained a further degree in Manual Therapy in 2004. Anja has a wide range of experience having worked in the NHS both in hospitals and outpatient departments, rehabilitation and sport centres and now private practice. She has worked abroad, in the UK, and volunteered as a Physiotherapist for 1 year in South Africa. Anja will be working at both the Hove and Kemptown clinics.

She has developed many years experience & expertise in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal and sport injuries and has moved to Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic from many years at The Hove Clinic, formally known as Wilbury Clinic.
In her spare time she loves to be creative in arts and crafts and throwing pottery .
Sarah Wykes BSc (Hons), M.C.S.P. Registered with HCPC
Sarah qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1982 having studied at St Thomas Hospital, London. She spent almost 10 years working in The NHS, mostly specialising in musculoskeletal and orthopaedics, then moving to Southlands Hospital as a senior physiotherapist. Sarah will be seeing patients at the Hove clinic on Tredcroft Road.

Sarah qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1982 having studied at St Thomas Hospital, London. She spent almost 10 years working in The NHS, mostly specialising in musculoskeletal and orthopaedics, then moving to Southlands Hospital as a senior physiotherapist.
After a slight change in tack branching out into the world of sales, selling electrotherapy products to physios, Sarah soon realised that physiotherapy was her vocation.
Consequently Sarah has spent the last 25 years working in private practice in Hove, mainly with the team at The Hove Clinic, formally known as Wilbury Physiotherapy. She also runs her own small clinic in Ditchling where she lives.

Justine Dennett Licentiate of Acupuncture in Classic Chinese Medicine
Justine qualified as an acupuncturist in 2002 having studied at the International College of Oriental Medicine in East Grinstead, gaining a Licentiate of Acupuncture in Classic Chinese Medicine.
She has a wealth of experience in treating a diverse range of health conditions, including musculoskeletal problems of the shoulders, knees, lower back and sciatica, gynaecological issues, assisted fertility treatments and provides induction treatments for labour when overdue.
Depending on the age of the patient and the condition being presented she may use a combination of chinese modalities to restore wellbeing. These range from the use of very fine needles, moxibustion (heat therapy), cupping (suction therapy), gold pellets and massage with the use of therapeutic oils.
Justine is a committed member of the Acupuncture Society, a registered body ensuring she maintains a high standard of practice through continued training within the Oriental medicine field.
Jo Aston Bsc (Hons), M.C.S.P. Registered with HCPC
Jo graduated as a chartered Physiotherapist in 2006 from the University of East Anglia. She started her career in London working in the NHS before moving into the private sector. Jo has a wealth of experience assessing, treating and managing all musckuloskeletal and post-operative conditions using current techniques. Her goal is to aid patients in returning to the activities, hobbies and sports they love.

Jo graduated as a chartered Physiotherapist in 2006 from the University of East Anglia. She started her career in London working in the NHS before moving into the private sector. Jo has a wealth of experience assessing, treating and managing all musckuloskeletal and post-operative conditions using current techniques. Her goal is to aid patients in returning to the activities, hobbies and sports they love.
Jo qualified as a matwork instructor with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute). She uses her Pilates to complement her Physiotherapy management with an aim to keep clients moving well long term, especially following injury.
In recent years Jo has specialised in the field of pelvic health. She has acquired the skills to treat and manage patients suffering with urinary and bowel dysfunctions, along with antenatal and post-natal pain and complaints.
Outside of work Jo is busy looking after her 3 young children. When she gets a minute she enjoys running and making the most of costal living!
